Katie Ford
MD
Dr. Katie Ford graduated from medical school at the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee in 2018. Following this, she completed her pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. While in residency, she received a Distinction in Biomedical Ethics, as well as additional training in advocacy efforts for children’s health. She is particularly interested in social determinants of health, caring for vulnerable populations, and alleviating health disparities. Dr. Ford was born and raised in Nashville, where she now resides with her husband. A lifelong Commodore, she enjoys cheering on Vanderbilt athletics, traveling, reading, exercising, and gardening in her spare time.
